Our Mission Statement
To unite the Filipino students within the Rutgers community by establishing solidarity on the basis of a common heritage, to educate the Rutgers community on various aspects of the Philippine culture, to provide information of current socioeconomic and political conditions about the Philippines, and to provide services and programs that will be beneficial to Filipinos both within and outside the Rutgers community.
RAPS is a Member School of FIND Inc.'s District Three
FIND or Filipino Intercollegiate Networking Dialogue was founded in 1993 to promote unity and cooperation of Filipino students at institutions of higher education. The goals of FIND are to offer channel for dialogue and action, promote and preserve Filipino culture, to further awareness of issues pertinent to the Filipino community, to act as a catalyst to pool the efforts of Filipino organizations. District Three is a united front of institutions of higher education encompassing the metropolitan area of New York City, Northern New Jersey, and Long Island. Member schools beside RAPS include Rutgers - Newark's FSA, Seton Hall University's FLASH, New York University's IFA, and much more.
